Jordan Peele gets praise across the episodes, with Adam trusting him and Chris rating Get Out highly.
J. Abrams not to mess up the Lovecraft Country TV version. Chris says Get Out is eerie from the start and asks who you can trust. Adam felt Wendell and Wild was very Jordan Peele, and notes Peele is a massive fan of 80s horror.
In their own words
Adam And yeah that I'm I really want to see I really enjoyed the book I really want to see what they're going to do with the TV version because there's enough basically I do trust you know Jordan Peele and J.J. Abrams to not fuck it up. You know to to the point of being a polling but I do you know I would I want to see it and compare it and everything else like that and see what they've changed and stuff. But the book the books really the books really good and sort of I would imagine will lend itself to being a TV series because it's kind of like a series of short stories that come together.
086 Let The Right One InAdam So and I tell you what, fucking soundtrack's incredible as well. It's got like fucking got the specials, X-Ray Specs, Death, Living Color, it's just really, really fucking good. But basically, it's technically it's Jordan Peele's latest film.
Ep 157 We have been watchingAdam The thing I tell you what, and I this is a weird thing. When I when I was watching it though this time, I just felt it was very Jordan Peele. Do you know what I mean?
Ep 175 HouseAdam You don't react in a movie way or indeed in a sort of ironic Buffy Scream sort of way. It's just people like, no, no, no, I'm not fucking with that, that's just. And you know, and I but yeah, so I kind of got that feeling and I know that obviously Jordan Peele's like a massive fan of 80s horror. So, you know, I'm not suggesting that it's a copy, but I think definitely that tone is there.
Ep 175 HouseChris But, but yeah, Get Out, I'm pretty certain you did. But yeah, like seriously, he, Jordan Peele and all of the actors and the writing, what a great way to just make it so eerie from the start. Like where is this going? This is just on edge about, like there's something strange, I know, but who is it that's going to be strange? Like, and you know, like even when the the cop pulls them over, just yeah, just everything about it is just so like who, who do you trust here?
Ep170 The Revenge of We Have Been WatchingAfter weeks of Lee’s prodding, the team finally watch Jordan Peele’s “Us”, a film with more rabbit than Sainsbury’s, that has the guys as divided as the movie’s characters. Will Lee’s 12 points of …
