BobbyGreat to be back. Great to be your, uh, your, um, like you said, resident Texan. I can, uh, I can shine some light of accuracy on this film that we will be discussing.

BobbyYeah, I'd like to, um, commend, uh, you, Chris. I feel like I feel like having that you've recently covered Texas Chainsaw Massacre and now Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2. This is almost like

ChrisYes.
BobbyAs far as like, as far as horror fandom goes.
BobbyLike you, you've seen far more than most people that wouldn't consider themselves a horror fan if that makes sense.
ChrisWell, I, I always thought I would never watch Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Like I've heard of it throughout my entire life as far as I can remember. I just thought that does not sound like a film I would ever rush to watch.
ChrisAnd of course I'm glad I have watched it.
ChrisAnd I'm probably, I might be, I think I could be glad I've watched Texas Chainsaw Massacre too.
BobbyOh, spoilers. Okay.
BobbyYeah, by today's standard, the original is a bit benign, I would say.
BobbyIt's like, um, it's like when you were a kid and you hadn't really listened to Kiss, but you've seen what they looked like. But you're into heavy metal, so you're like, well, that band Kiss looks like they're into some really evil shit.
BobbyAnd you go listen to him and it's like Christine 16 and Strutter and and I want to rock and roll all night. You're like, what the fuck is this 70s weird arena rock stuff?
BobbyNot to say that, not to say that Texas Chainsaw Massacre is, um, as benign and ennoval as Kiss.
BobbyBut it's that same kind of, I think, I think it sneaks in a subtlety.
ChrisIn in there. It it stays with you.
BobbyRight.
AdamI think that was what we were saying on the like Jean Simmons.
ChrisYes.
ChrisAnd unless of course, for you, Texas Chainsaw Massacre might just be, you know, walk in the park.
BobbyThat's just Tuesday down here in, uh, yeah.

AdamBut I think that's something we did, we did sort of get into when we were doing the first one is we said, it's sort of certainly over here, it's reputation is its name.
