Lee Good evening and welcome to Horror.
Lee I'm Lee.
Chris I'm Chris.
Adam And I am Adam.
Lee And the stars have aligned as we promised. We are joined by friend of the podcast Alex.
Lee Hey!
Alex Greetings all.
Adam Good to see you, sir. Thank you for joining us.
Alex Thank you for inviting me.
Chris Now we last saw you, we had a a little welcome to our party, didn't we?
Alex Yes. That was actually, that was actually quite a long time ago now.
Unknown It's been a year, I think.
Lee Yeah.
Adam Was it part, I don't even know if it was part of lockdown, wasn't, was it?
Adam I think we'd not.
Chris Was it was it yeah, just before maybe? Yeah, because we were sort of testing out how to do whether we could record on Zoom, basically, yeah.
Lee Yeah.
Adam Before it became an necessity, so it seems we were forward thinking.
Chris By about a week or so, that's.
Chris That's our timing.
Lee I've got to be honest, it must have gone very well, because it was one of those things where I woke up next morning and I thought, I don't know what I said after about 25 minutes in, I hope we've got listeners next week.
Lee But it all went all right and everyone still came back, so I think we did all right, it's fine.
Adam Yeah, I don't, I don't think we got too offensive.
Adam Or any more than we usually do.
Lee Um.
Lee So, uh, as mentioned previously, uh, Alex is a huge fan of the movie Jaws and we've been talking about doing it for a little while, so we thought we would bring Alex in as a, as a super fan as it were.
Lee So Alex, tell us a bit about yourself and horror, what sort of stuff you watch and anything you've caught up with recently?
Alex Uh, well, been in a horror since a young age, I think.
Alex For start with Doctor Who and things like that.
Alex The creature episodes.
Alex Sort of interest, yes.
Alex Tom Baker years, etc.
Alex Nice.
Alex And then uh, obviously Hammer Horror and things on the TV.
Alex I guess now that stuff I'm more into is like sort of uh, folk horror is a big thing.
Chris Hmm.
Alex I mean obviously I watch stuff that's got gore and things.
Alex But I'm more interested in like the sort of creepier stuff, or psychological stuff, I guess.
Chris Excellent.
Alex Um.
Alex Yeah, so it's always been a massive horror fan.
Alex And it seems to be very in vogue again now. It went out quite a while just like, oh.
Chris That since the world has turned into one big horror.
Alex Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Lee It does. It always.
