Lee Good evening and welcome to Horror.
Lee I'm Lee.
Chris I'm Chris.
Adam And I'm Adam.
Lee And we are here for another special episode of Welcome to Horror because we are going completely off-piste this week and doing something entirely different that we've not done before.
Chris How adventurous are we?
Lee I know.
Adam Extremely.
Lee So thank you very much to Claire for having this fantastic idea. I think we're all really looking forward to this.
Adam So.
Lee So before we crack into something new, Chris, what have you been watching?
Chris I've been watching something excellent. It is the the Key & Peele shorts on YouTube.
Chris Which I'd I'd seen the Gremlins one Gremlins 2 one that Adam recommended. And then I don't know how I came across them again exactly, but it's like, yep, okay, Key & Peele, right, Adam's mentioned that lots, I go, I'm going to check it out.
Chris And it was the dubstep one.
Lee Oh, yes.
Chris I don't think.
Chris I haven't yet, well, you should definitely watch it then.
Chris Because I don't know, I don't know if they're, I mean, they're possibly slagging off dubstep completely.
Chris I I couldn't actually tell because they did such a good job of, you know, playing some dubstep and kind of looking like they were having a lot of fun to it while it's also doing them some serious bodily damage.
Adam Yeah.
Chris So like, definitely worth checking that.
Chris And then I also watched The Invitation, which was a humorous little bit.
Chris At this point, uh, Shirley walked around and could see my screen, and I wasn't sure how bad they were going to get.
Chris So I did have to pause it at that point, because they're obviously, you know, they're meant to be funny, but to her they still just look like horror.
Lee So.
Chris Um, so yeah, in that one someone turns into a vampire and again, yeah, funny, well done, straight to the point.
Adam Yeah.
Chris So I highly recommend those, and I will be checking out some more.
Adam They're smart, so it's an example of how smart they were, though.
Adam Because they were originally done for Paramount, like Paramount Comedy Channel.
Chris Okay.
Adam And part of their contract was, but we'll keep the online rights.
Lee Mm-hmm.
Chris Uh.
Adam And then like, yeah, so every time it's on YouTube, they're getting the money, not not Paramount.
Chris Very good.
Adam I I know Matt Stone and Trey Parker basically did the same with South Park.
Lee Back on the South Park train at the moment, season 15 we're on at the moment.
Chris Oh, I've got a little South Park reference this episode.
Lee Oh, excellent.
Chris I I've not seen it for a while, but this came to mind while I was thinking about my worst things.
Lee Mm.
Chris And it's not South Park that's the worst thing, but they do highlight a lot of terrible things in the world.
Lee Yes.
Adam Was it when Scott Baio gave you pink eye?
